Extension Tube for the SR540 and SR800
The SR540 when used with the extension tube can increase the roast capacity from 4oz up to 8oz of green coffee beans.
The SR800 is designed to roast 8oz of green wet-processed coffee beans. Going above the specified amount of green coffee can run the risk of plugging up the chaff basket and causing a chaff fire. The user must inspect and monitor the chaff basket for fullness and adjust the bean quantity as needed.

This extension tube allows for such great bean movement, increasing consistency and volume. Excellent!
Provides lots of movement
I recently replaced an SR340 which served me well for twelve years with an SR540 and extension tube. While I was a happy user of the SR340, am very pleased with the new model and extension tube as they offer a significantly improved roasting consistency.
